Service Description
Our free community yoga class welcomes you to experience the benefits of yoga. This class focuses on gentle movements, mindful breathing, and relaxation to promote physical and mental well-being. It's a perfect opportunity to connect with others, reduce stress, and find balance in a supportive, welcoming environment. No props are generally required for this class. However, you may like to practice on a yoga mat and have a cushion for seated and kneeling postures and a nearby chair or wall for support when balancing. In addition, I would recommend having a pillow, bolster and a warm blanket for the guided meditation and śavāsana towards the end of the session. Unless listed as a Chair session, this class requires you to be able to move from standing to the floor with ease. If you struggle to get down to the mat or to stand back up, please consider booking the Pain Care Chair Yoga class instead. However, if this is your first session, please ensure you complete the Health Waiver, which will be emailed to you shortly after booking, and return it to me before the session begins.
